Global HR Category Manager role looking after c.£100m+ projects for a well known professional services business. You will have ownership of developing and implementing category strategy and influencing stakeholder relationships

Description

As Global Category Manager for the HR categories, you will manage a sub category spend across the Group that has critical business impact. You will manage spend across EMEA within subcategories such as temporary and permanent recruitment, and any HR related outsourcing. You will be managing value delivery, on-going performance and the risk represented by the substantial supply base which is of critical importance. There will also be an element of developing and influencing stakeholder relationships to a senior level, navigating a complex global environment.

Profile

  • Strong experience in leading HR category Procurement projects end to end, working to a structured process for RFIs and RFPs. Even better if this has been in a global environment
  • Building and implementing category strategies, working with stakeholders and cross functional teams to gain strong stakeholder buy in and take them on the procurement journey. Drive a commitment to change with stakeholders
  • Strong ability and track record of driving best value and savings from supplier negotiations
  • Excellent supplier relationship management skills, supported by structured supplier performance reviews
  • Great in managing and influencing stakeholders and suppliers in order to drive continuous improvement and best value in line with wider business goal
  • Degree/MCIPS/Equivalent qualification
