Our Client

Our client is a rapidly growing IT Services / Connectivity business that sells SD-WAN, Security, Cloud Services to mid-market and enterprise customers in the private sector. Already on an impressive growth trajectory, they have now engaged Mallory Partners to identify an exceptional Sales Leader who has experience in building high performing sales teams.  

You will be a Sales Director, skilled in leading teams managing existing accounts and developing new business who has had experience of owning the entire commercial Go To Market strategy for an organisation or a business unit of a large corporate. You will be customer-centric, passionate about the IT Services / Connectivity space and be able to articulate complex digital transformation solutions that provide positive business outcomes for the customer. You will also be a natural leader with the ability to grow a forward team and be able to motivate people around you.  

The Role

  • Grow, train and manage a high performing sales team, including developing sales strategies and metrics for analysing performance.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, building partnership/collaborative working and managing change whilst driving a positive culture.
  • Organisational design, management structure, sales teams, support functions within sales, best balance of resources to meet targets.
  • Ensure ongoing intelligence on competitors, why we lost deals, why we win deals, where we need to improve.

The Candidate:

  • Candidates should have a proven track record in New Logo sales, be commercially astute with knowledge of the IT Services / Connectivity market.
  • Candidates should have demonstrable experience and track record in driving and winning large, transformational multi-year cloud contracts ideally in the Enterprise Managed Service space
  • Candidates will have gravitas and strong personality and influencing skills, able to build credibility at all levels and manoeuvre tricky customer negotiations.

This role focuses on organic growth, building a positive and collaborative sales culture and the successful candidate will need to be credible with both internal and external stakeholders.
