Job Details
A part of the Commercial team focused on management of business rates on all group assets and external assets under management.
Client Details
Leading well known Property business
Description
Providing bespoke rating valuation appeals, rates relief and rates management advice across the group portfolio
Identifying, co-ordinating and implementing rates mitigation strategies on both ongoing and backdated one off large projects
Negotiating rating appeals with the Valuation Office Agency
Co-ordinating and liaising with the local authority on all rates related matters
Document and data management on all rating matters including occupier leases and occupancy details
Ongoing financial management of all rates including invoices and accounts
Reporting to the board/client/finance on strategies and recommendations
Profile
MRICS
Several years experience in ratings
Strong technical knowledge in a range of property types
Excellent communication skills
Will consider backgrounds in Public Sector / Housing
