This is an exciting global IT sourcing manager role with a focus on software and market data. This is a newly created role in a brownfield Procurement environment, as part of a growing team. Sourcing and Vendor management is high on the organisations agenda with strong buy in from board level stakeholders.

Description

• Sourcing within the IT and Market Data space on a global scale, including software, SaaS, and other subcategories in an end to end role
• Developing and implementing category strategy
• Pushing forward procurement across the organisation educating on best practice and influencing stakeholders to follow correct processes
• Ensuring that the proper regulations are adhered to, mitigating risk
• Effective negotiation with key suppliers driving best value

Profile

• A depth of experience within the IT sourcing space, ideally software and software services. Market data category experience would also be useful.
• Experience within a financial services or similarly regulated organisation would be preferred.
• An ability to develop and implement category strategy in line with wider business goals
• Strong understanding and experience of risk management
• Resilience - an ability to influence stakeholders at a range of levels, taking them on the procurement journey
• CIPS/Degree or equivalent qualification
