2Gether Support Solutions – Chair of the Board  

£30,000 per annum for circa 4 days per month

2gether Support Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary company of one of the largest NHS Foundation Trusts in the UK, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.

We were formed in 2018 to provide strong and vibrant total facilities management across the across five major hospital sites as well as a range of community clinics. Formed with social values at its core, the company also provides a range of business support services including procurement, medical engineering, and capital build projects. It is an exciting time for 2gether as we continue to play a key role supporting staff, clinical care and in turn the local community.

2gether is seeking a new Chair to provide leadership to the Board as they continue their journey, consolidating the offering of 2gether and providing strategic oversight as the organisation grows. We are seeking candidates who are inclusive team players, who will both support and challenge the Executive team to help the Trust deliver first-class patient care to its complex city, rural and coastal populations. You will use your Board level experience and expertise to provide guidance, governance, scrutiny and support in the development and execution of 2gethers strategic vision and will continuously review, evaluate and improve the way services are delivered across the Trust. You will also shape the culture of the organisation, its values and behaviours, ensuring they are demonstrated by the Board in all its actions.

As the successful candidate you will demonstrate a strong understanding of, and experience in Non-Executive Directorships, ideally in a Chair position. You will also have board level experience in a large, complex organisation, ideally with experience of large-scale service provision, through your senior level experience.
