The Company

The company is a highly respected manufacturer within the technology sector.

Headquartered in North Yorkshire, with additional manufacturing sites in Germany and Poland the business is supported by sales offices in the USA & India, exporting to 150 countries around the world.

The business was recently acquired by a Fortune 1000 company listed on the New York stock exchange and has ambitious growth plans for the future.   

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director/CFO who will form part of the division’s senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the individual will play a significant role in the future growth strategy of the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full P&L accountability and creation and oversight of a best-in-class finance function.
  • The integration of a devolved business into a group reporting structure.
  • Prepare regular presentations for communicating the performance of the groups monthly results, divisional re-forecasts, divisional board of directors’ meetings, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to drive growth, both organic and through acquisition, to deliver the business group strategy.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process including sales, margins, overheads, balance sheet and working capital in line with group timetables and standards.
  • Day to day management of the Finance, HR, and IT functions in the UK.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director/CFO who has previous experience of group reporting.

Whilst the focus of the role will be on ensuring group requirements are met, this is a great opportunity to get involved in transformational projects, potential acquisitions, IT systems implementations, commercial analysis, and strategic development of the divisional business. The successful candidate will need exceptional interpersonal skills as they will interface with all levels across the business both in the UK and Internationally.

The role is based in North Yorkshire and may suit someone who is willing to relocate.

  • Annual Bonus of 15% - 30%
