This fantastic opportunity is to be a vital part of the food & beverage buying across the UK business for all events (sport, education, business). This role would be to create, drive and implement strategy behind the food and beverage purchasing. Buying a range of frozen, chilled, ambient & branded foods, whilst negotiating the best deals or the business and keeping quality high.

Description

Responsible for effective procurement of Meats, Produce, Seafood, branded food and drinks (circa up to £25m)​Develop the strategy & long range income growth plan for all categories.Developing key relationships with supplier and internal stakeholders.Work closely with NPD and Chefs to ensure a diverse and modern menu.Ensure all products have a sustainable supply chain and are high quality.​Using continuous improvement tools to effectively drive sustainable business growth opportunities and maximise the overall commercial value.To review and manage the continual development of Preferred Supplier product baskets on a quarterly basis.​To provide monthly data for the Procurement Director in preparation for Operations and Board Meetings.

Experience

Experience within multiple food purchasing categories ​

Experience with FMCG / Food Services / Restaurant Retail​

Proven track recorded in supplier negotiations

Up to £55,000 plus car allowance, bonus and other benefits.
