Chief Finance Officer
Do you have an MBA in finance? Are you fully qualified? Have you had experience of working in venture capital and equity? Is your preference working in a hands-on manner?
I am working with a leading Venture Capital and Equity firm who are looking for a hands-on CFO to join their team in South Wales. Please note this may require some travelling to their local businesses/ M5 corridor businesses

• Providing strategic financial leadership, advice and guidance to support the CEO
• Manage a team of 5 finance professionals- this team is looking to double in size over the next 12 months.
• Presenting financial reports to executives, board members, investors, and other stakeholders
• Preparing financial investor documentation, models and financial presentations for private equity fund raising (including Venture Capital and Private Equity and High Net Worth Investment)
• Assisting to manage advisors and investors in funding rounds to support the CEO
• Working collaboratively with the business and external advisors on project finance structures
• Being accountable for financial processes, controls and financial reporting
• Implementing systems and reporting tools that reflect the stage of business as it grows

The experience you'll bring to the team

• Previous experience within a Venture Capital and Equity firm preferred
• MBA in Finance/ Fully qualified
• Excellent communication skills with a hands-on approach
• Previous management experience of a small/medium finance team
• Ability to travel when required
