Develop and manage the implementation of Sales strategy with wholesalers and retail pharmacies for the generics business portfolio and other hospital / tender products to drive the targets in line with overall organisation goals

Description

  • Drive secondary and primary trade business for the country by closely tracking sales on weekly basis
  • Conduct regular sales meeting with the team to track sales target achievement, and make necessary modifications to strategy to achieve the same
  • Maintain pricing to ensure appropriate profits as set management expectations, by continuously tracking prices and discounts offered for tender and trade business
  • Identify and propose new entry channels and partners for existing therapies/ products
  • Identify and propose new therapy areas and products beneficial for launch in the country as per profitability analysis and a detailed business case
  • Coordinating with Portfolio team and other internal stakeholders to ensure that products identified and cleared by portfolio team get into execution mode

Profile

  • Track record of business development within the Pharmaceutical trade
  • Experience in international business development with exposure to operations
  • Experience within National wholesale chains, Retail pharmacies and/or NHS and Hospitals
  • Experience preparing and presenting data to senior management and updating them on the business visibility for complete financial year
  • Expertise of the Pharmaceutical and Health care category
  • Can work cross functionally with support functions which include supply chain, finance, quality and regulatory.
