Job Title: CFO (PART-TIME)
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience)
Part-time: 2 - 3 days per week
Summary of Position:
Our client, a supplier distributor, are looking for a CFO to join their team. The CFO will be expected to take a leadership position to encompass a wide range of finance and commercial finance responsibilities.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
•Develop the finance team and lead the finance function for the business
•Clear and accurate financial reporting across stakeholders
•Management of forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
•Management of cashflow and financing arrangements
•Develop and implement improved systems and processes for the finance function
•Strategic and commercial advice
•Negotiate with suppliers
•Corporate governance and liaison with auditors and professional advisers
•Liaison with different areas across the business
•Ensure the company's financial practices are continuously in line with statutory regulations and legislation
Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:
•Demonstrable experience within a similar role, ideally within a similar sector
•Experience of building a finance team, structures and controls
•Fully qualified
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Flexible attitude to work in, and adapt to, a rapidly changing environment
•Ability to see things through from development to completion
•Excellent commercial and industry awareness
•Great IT skills
•Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload
•Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
•Proven ability to meet deadlines and work with strict timescales
•Ability to approach challenges logically and deliver outcomes
