Head of information security - Leeds (WFH 3-4 days) - Up to £120k + 10% Discretionary bonus

This company operates in the financial services space and has a global employee network of over 7000, running for almost 25 years this organisation is part of a larger group and as such offers long term career development and secure employment.

Joining them as a head of information security you will already have a solid background in a similar role within the financial services sector and have a strong understanding of all regulations and processes related to this sector. This role will operate on a global level and international will be required once things ease.

Others skills and / or experience the would be beneficial include;

• 7+ years' professional experience in risk-based or online services security leadership with a broad range of security technologies.
• Experience in Cloud-based or online services security Compliance related activity.
• Experienced in creating security frameworks, cyber incident reporting and crisis management methods.
• Educated to degree level, preferably in Computer Engineering, Information Security and Cyber security.
• Must have knowledge of ISO27001, NIST, SOC1/2, CPS234 and PCI-DSS.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with teams and external stakeholders are essential.
• Exposure to a large financial services organisation and an understanding of the risks of such an environment.
• Well-developed communication skills, including a level of written communication and reporting skills necessary to clearly and concisely describe complex issues and actions.

Standard hours are Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm with 3-4 days a week home working.
