Sheridan Maine are seeking a Head of Reporting and Performance on a Fixed Term Contract, for a leading Financial Services client of ours, with offices based in Southampton and London. This role will be leading the finance team and reporting into the Chief Financial Officer and Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities:
• Leading the production of all reporting including the; monthly reporting for lenders, monthly financials, monthly reporting to bank lenders, board reporting etc.
• Review, maintain and improve the financial internal controls and process efficiencies.
• Manage the finance team who are responsible for all the ledger accounting, financial and MI reporting.
• Assisting with the forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Adhoc portfolio and financial analysis as required.
• Providing a detailed commercial insight and delivery on commercial issues to add real time value.

To be successful in this role:
• We are seeking a qualified and experienced ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant
• A high calibre manager who has experience of managing and developing teams while continually enhancing their performance.
• Experience of working within a financial services.
• Highly analytical with strong commercial acumen and the able to constructively challenge the grain.
• Effective communicator and presenter with ability to build strong relationships at all levels of business.
• Strong systems skills, in particular PowerPoint & Excel.

This role is a Hybrid role (office locations are in Southampton and London), we are open to candidates based in various locations as long as you can commute to both office locations at least once a week.
