Senior Business Development Manager

Our client undertake unique and ground-breaking user centred research and design projects across the private and public sector, and right now they're recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager to help them further develop there footprint in private sector markets.

As a key member of the Senior Management Team and reporting to the Managing Director, as a Senior Business Development Manager you be given the freedom to develop and deliver our growth strategy, ensuring the client has a continual pipeline of new business, with a particular focus on private sector opportunities. Using your sales and prospecting skills you'll be a natural at shaping and closing professional service deals - and you'll also use your influence to ensure our client continue to drive the business in the right direction to meet the needs of future and current clients.

What you will need to do the role

If you are an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background selling agency or consultancy services, then we want to hear from you! You will have previously operated as part of a leadership team with evidence of not only leading business development but also contributing to the business strategy and direction of travel while also engaging with clients and converting opportunities between GBP50k-GBP250k+. We are looking for someone who can integrate as part of team environment and draw together the collective skills of our research and consulting team in the pursuit of new opportunities.

Naturally you will have strong commercial insight and be able to take a proactive/creative approach to looking after the needs and concerns of customers.

And along with experience and knowledge of Customer research, UX, Interaction and Service Design and Innovation, we'd also love you to bring with you a proven network of industry contacts and experience of working within private sector sales.
