Our retained client is a UK headquartered business in the TMT space, with significant international operations.

Reporting to the CEO, key responsibilities include the following:

  • Co-ordinate the Executive Leadership team to ensure elevated operational execution
  • Be the guardian of the operating model and ensure that systems and processes are being adopted, assessed, and improved upon
  • Lead the centres of excellence, ensuring the process and operating ensuring teams are implementing best practice
  • Lead Operations, Customer Service, Transformation and Change teams
  • Lead on M&A strategy and execution, identifying opportunities and managing the acquisition process to successfully acquire businesses that add value and accelerate the strategy
  • Develop strategies for the growth, making sure they are implemented
  • Lead the Marketing function for the Group, via a Chief Marketing Officer, developing a best in class paid audience strategy
  • Drive performance across Brand and Communications, Digital Marketing, eCRM, B2B Marketing, and B2C Marketing
  • Lead and develop direct reports and the wider team, driving a collaborative, high performance team culture
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activity & performance, and internal and external best practice, using analytical frameworks, strategic business models and tools to interpret and translate the results
  • Oversee the operations of the organisation and make any necessary changes to meet business goals and projections
  • Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Lead on business change initiatives, as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience in a senior operations leadership role across multi-channel, multi-location
  • Experience within the Digital, Technology, Media &/or Retail¬†space is desirable
  • A finance, consulting &/or strategy background is useful
  • Proven strategic ability, able to effectively process and articulate complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven experience of managing large teams across a range of functions
  • Ability to lead, plan and thrive in an evolving and a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • The ability to take a problem, assess the risks and make an informed plan of how to approach it
  • Possesses the ability to take data, form insights and act as a result
  • Global thinking. Ability to think multi-channel, multi-region
  • Commercial acumen. The ability to adapt best practice to best fit approach
  • Strong understanding of online
  • Stakeholder management skills. The ability to influence, challenge and coach at all levels of the organisation
  • Ideally has operated across an international footprint, ideally with experience in the US
