Role: Finance Director

Communicate is working with a recognisable, high-growth private equity backed Logistics company in search of a #2 in Finance. This company manufactures and distributes its products to consumer facing businesses. Having been around for over 20 years, the company holds 15 offices across the wold and holds a Group turnover of £300 Million. They are now in search of a UK Finance Director to join their team.

Role Responsibilities

- Managing and overseeing the Finance Team

- Leading monthly calls with the company's Private Equity backers to discuss any potential queries or preparations

- Preparing Group Financial Statements and annual reports

- Business partnering with country MDs

- Assisting the CFO in the purchase and integration of new products;

- Managing consignment inventories held by distributors, delivery delays, and risk management by working with Supply Chain and Quality departments

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

- ACA/CIMA/ACCA from a Big 4 practice

- Previous experience within Logistics

- Previous experience within Senior Finance positions

- The ability to work on multiple tasks at once - excellent time management & organisational skills

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

- The ability to manage, guide and lead a finance team while guaranteeing that all financial processes are correctly followed

- Well versed in accounting principles and financial skills
