This is an outstanding opportunity for a strong Supply Chain leader who has experience within driving improvements within people and process.

Description

As Head of Supply Chain, you will have the following areas of focus and responsibility:

  • Management of direct supply chain functions: supply, production, demand planning, order fulfilment/customer services and S&OP
  • Lead the demand planning and sales order functions and partner closely with Commercial function to ensure robust and agreed forecasts between Sales and Operations to enable accurate local production planning and to optimise operational performance and to achieve service levels
  • Manage short and long-term supply chain planning to ensure the ability to forward plan materials purchasing effectively
  • Develop and deliver an Inventory Control strategy to meet working capital targets
  • Partner with Commercial and Operations to effectively manage SKU complexity, sales/marketing requests for special/differentiated packs etc.
  • Manage Supply Chain team for the UK - talent and performance management
  • Sit on Senior Leadership Team to drive UK operational performance and capability
  • Ensure that a robust and effective continuous improvement process is in place across all supply chain processes

Profile

  • A supply chain leader who has breadth of knowledge and experience across end to end supply chain - ideally a complex environment within FMCG
  • Someone who can deliver & embed a fit for purpose S&OP process
  • A leader who can cut through the noise and bring order, structure and standard ways of working that promote efficiency
  • A leader who can assess and develop the team- building capability where it is needed, especially at the middle management level
  • Customer interaction is key- a leader who has the gravitas to gain the confidence of blue-chip customers
  • A robust and strong leader who can also gain the confidence and trust of colleagues within the wider global organisation

Job Offer

The successful candidate for this Head of Supply Chain role will be offered up to c. £80,000 plus package and the opportunity to drive real change and put your stamp on something!
