Job Details

As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for driving the lead generation strategy for the business to help support future growth. Working closely with the CMO and Sales Director, you will manage a small team and drive the full communication strategy for the business.

Description

As the Head of Marketing, you will:

  • Take accountability for the B2B lead generation strategy
  • Implement a full communication strategy to improve lead generation growth
  • Lead content initiatives across all channels
  • Be hands on, as well as taking a strategic role
  • Understand and develop a clear understanding of the customer, targets and products
  • Coach and develop a small team, ensuring weekly objectives are met
  • Implement email marketing and automated campaigns
  • Ensure the website plays an influential role in the overall lead generating strategy
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and sales team to maximise lead opportunities
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate appropriately
  • Implement new demand generation tactics

Profile

As the Head of Marketing, you will:

  • Ideally come from a B2B IT technology background with a successful history in marketing and lead generation campaigns
  • Have a track record of success within a similar B2B role, whether selling into private or public sector such as Education
  • Be highly proficient in Hubspot
  • Have a strong marketing content background
  • Have a strong eye for detail with strong written skills
  • Be highly analytical and able to interpret data to make decisions to impact overall growth.
  • Have previously managed a small Marketing team and external agencies
  • Be happy to work in a hybrid environment with travel to Leeds city centre once a week (more if preferred)
  • Have a related Marketing degree, have a CIM qualification and be passionate about Marketing
