Description

Support the design of complex engagements working directly with Partners and Associate Partners

* Translate the client brief into manageable work streams

* Identify strategic value creation opportunities, lead hypothesis generation, data analyses, manage data requests, complex storyboarding, conduct client and SME interviews, and shape the overall problem-solving approach to develop insights and recommendations

* Interact with the senior client team credibly and effectively

* Support client development activity including thought leadership, pitches preparation and proposals writing

* Build and maintain a strong internal network across the Strategy/Deal Advisory practices, including collaborating with Europe, US and other global practices as appropriate

Profile

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate:

* Experience of working on a combination of the following Commercial Due Diligence, Strategy and Performance Improvement/Value Creation engagements with experience across the Deals lifecycle working with PE houses and/or Financial Institutions working for:

o Strategy House, strategy or Deals strategy arm of a reputable consulting firm

o Private Equity or Corporate Development arm of a Financial Services organisation

* Hands-on functional strategic experience of working on key topics such as market sizing, growth strategy, pricing, customer segmentation and commercial analysis, profitability improvement, cost reduction etc. in financial services

* Experience of managing or supporting high value business development activities with senior stakeholders

Skills & Education

* Proven management of teams, developing talent, developing and delivery of training materials Evidence of strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
