If you have previous Risk Management, Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance experience and you're looking for a flexible remote-working role, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Our client is seeking a collaborative full-time Head of Compliance and MLRO (SMF16 & SMF17) to build and then head up their regulatory risk and compliance team. This Financial Services role comes with a generous compliance officer salary of £115k- £150k p/a and an excellent benefits package.

Our client is currently going through an impressive 'buy and build' project and acquiring several companies to add to their portfolio. As the Head of Compliance and MLRO, you will be instrumental in maintaining the current regulatory regime within the business and building the compliance and AML frameworks and providing advice to the board on both regulatory matters and general strategy as our client expands.

In this Risk Control role, you can expect to:
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to assure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the compliance and MLRO functions
  • Provide regulatory oversight and compliance input to commercial acquisition integration projects across people, process, and technology

As Head of Compliance, you will also manage and implement changes to efficiently conduct Compliance and mitigate any AML/CTF risks.

To apply for this role, you will require the following:
  • Comfortable taking responsibility for large-functional areas and managing multifaceted integration projects
  • Experience helping design and achieve compliance, AML, and ideally CASS/client money functions in financial institutions
  • Familiarity with financial advice, wealth management, discretionary fund management (DFM), pension management (defined benefit pensions), and applicable regulations
