Job Description

The role provides high quality reporting, supporting the Group functions, the plc Board and Executive Board and is heavily involved in the external reporting of the Group through HY/FY results, Annual Report and quarterly trading updates, as well as other external communications.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery of timely information and reporting internally to the stakeholders (plc Board, Executive Board, Group Management) as well as externally.

  • Preparation and review of Year end Annual Report and Accounts (ARA) and Interim Results
  • Review of monthly reporting submissions
  • Preparation of multi-currency consolidation and cash flow for 37 countries
  • Heavily involved in all aspects of Group's external quarterly reporting
  • Ad hoc technical accounting advice to global subsidiaries
  • Assisting FP&A team in collation and analysis of data
  • Preparation and review of UK statutory accounts

The Successful Applicant

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent attention to detail, acting with the highest levels of integrity
  • Highly organised and efficient, demonstrating strong alignment with our values
  • Strong technical accountant with excellent knowledge of IFRS
  • Ability to work with and influence at a very senior level
  • Good standard of English, additional languages would be looked on favourably
  • Highly credible and an effective and clear communicator

Experience and Qualifications

  • Professional accountancy qualification - ACA or equivalent
  • Strong financial reporting skills
  • Strong technical accounting skills with an excellent understanding of IFRS
  • Experience of working in or with a multi-national business
  • Listed company experience is beneficial
