Richmond Villages

£80,000pa

Home Based (Expectation to be in Head Office 1 day per week and visit at least 2 villages per week) covering Northampton, Aston on Trent, Nantwich, Williston, and Coventry.

As the Regional Operations Director at Richmond Villages, you'll lead the operational strategy in designated villages and strive to deliver a successful financial performance. Leading by example, you'll support our Village Managers operationally, ensuring each village delivers or exceeds profit targets whilst providing the highest standard of care, hospitality, and support services to our residents.

About the role
  • You'll assist with the preparation of annual budgets and targets for the villages, monitoring performance through proper accounting and reporting
  • Leading on project work as required, you'll identify and develop new opportunities to ensure customer satisfaction and improve the profitability of our villages
  • You'll complete the required internal/external audits each month, ensuring compliance with all regulatory bodies and appropriate action is taken
  • Gathering and analysing market data to inform business decisions, you'll closely monitor competitor activities and decipher when to lead and follow market trends
  • Ensuring new policies and initiatives are successfully implemented, you'll take responsibility for the health and safety requirements and ensure adherence to the appropriate legislation
  • Providing incident management support, you'll lead on all complaints and implement the learning from all serious incidents and audits, ensuring that concerns raised by staff or residents are actioned and escalated as appropriate
  • You'll be responsible for the training and development of our Village Managers and Heads of Department and assist with investigations/disciplinaries as required, ensuring that all villages comply with relevant people legislation

Who we're looking for

You have significant management experience at a senior level with an ability to manage budgets and excellent financial awareness. With a proven record of leading a management team to exceed business results, you're a skilled negotiator with exceptional relationship building skills. You have substantial experience of customer-centric organisations and a good understanding of relevant legislation to ensure organisational compliance. An NVQ Level 4 Registered Managers Award (or equivalent), knowledge of formulating policies and procedures and experience of working with health professionals would be advantageous. With an open and approachable attitude, you're a confident leader who can successfully manage change and mitigate business risk.
