Description

Key deliverables for the succesful candidate include;

  • Deliver market leading service levels for customers- OTIF >98% and Service >99%.
  • Delivery of operational cost base and budget of circa £3m pa
  • Work with the central team to optimise routes, productivity and the use of colleagues to drive further productivity and cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with all mandatory and regulatory requirements such as MHRA, GDP, GPHC, HSE, CQC, GB Driving Regs, WTD.
  • Lead & support the undertaking Investigations and RCA
  • Create a culture of Continuous Improvement accountable for the maintenance and compliance with all standard operating procedures within the Distribution Centre operations.
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of compliance and site HSE Policies and Standards.
  • Maintain high levels of service through a 24/7 365 business model.
  • Responsible for vehicles safety, compliance and legality - managing fleet service and compliance.
  • Maximise the safety, service, cost and quality performance of the centre by exploring opportunities to align services deliverable to achieve maximum customer, patient satisfaction and service delivery.
  • Review and manage team performance and KPI's in line with performance review.
  • Drive and lead the change process to deliver a fully integrated service centre operation in line with company objectives.
  • Communicate, implement and maintain company policy and procedures throughout the service centre.
  • Develop and manage commercial relationships with customers and suppliers through the maintenance of service/product processes to deliver excellent customer service.

Profile

The successfully appointed Regional Distribution Centre Manager will have;

  • Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced logistics and distribution environment across multiple sites
  • Experience of leading a team of employees delivering high performance
  • A Logistics distribution and supply chain background.
  • Successful delivery of KPI's and SLA's
  • Should be highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Dedicated and flexible, must have a "whatever it takes" attitude to fulfil the DC & operational support requirements in a pressurised environment.
  • Must demonstrate a financial and commercial pedigree
  • Should have experience of change management, both scale and complexity
  • Full DBS clearance checks
  • Mobility to support a field-based network
  • Management of temperature-controlled environments
  • CPC desirable
  • Live within Yorkshire and the Humber

Job Offer

  • Basic salary of £55,000 - £60,000
