THE COMPANYThis is a really exciting opportunity to become the Operations Director for a fast growing and hugely dynamic bar group. The brand is fun, ambitiously forward thinking and has a good reputation in the market place. The role would involve outlining the vision, strategy and tactics required to allow the Company to optimise existing venues and bring on an additional (minimum) 3-4 venues per year.
THE ROLEReporting to the Board, the role of the Operations Director is to lead all facets of operational activities including department strategy, events, food and drink development and new projects, whilst ensuring they are operating in line with the Company's overall strategy and culture.
Responsible for setting and managing budgets, and reviewing department performance regularly to report at Board level, the OD will be required to have an overall department plan in place to ensure that the Company can achieve their sales and EBITDA targets in order to deliver on their ambitious growth plan.
  • Developing and delivering a full business plan for the department
  • Ensure your teams act in line with the Company Culture
  • Developing systems and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability
  • Working with the Sales and Marketing Directors on the execution of key campaigns
  • Recruiting, Training, Retaining and Managing your team

THE CANDIDATEThe right candidate would have experience in opening new sites within a growing multi-site hospitality business. You will be used to managing a large team of managers, as well as have the soft skills required to upwardly manage Directors and Stakeholders. You will be the leader in driving the company mission of ensuring that through teamwork, courage, kindness and dedication, unforgettable experiences are delivered for all customers.
