This exciting opportunity to join an ever growing organisation. As the Business Development Director, the role is largely focused on developing strategic new business opportunities, there is also the responsibility of managing a small team, along with a handful of accounts.

Description

As the Business Development Director, you will:

  • Take responsibility for driving and closing new business opportunities
  • Work towards pre-agreed revenue targets, maintaining sufficient pipeline
  • Work with the larger group to understand where cross sell opportunities can be maximised
  • Lead the opportunity and engage with relevant internal stakeholders to deliver bespoke solution for the client
  • Identify key stakeholders within the client to ensure strong relationships are built and the opportunity is tailored accordingly
  • Help support your team in maximising their own opportunities, coaching and developing as appropriate
  • Manage your own pipeline and overall teams to ensure accurate forecasting

Profile

As the Business Development Director, you will:

  • Have a successful track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets across complex opportunities
  • Have a track record selling into B2B, either SMEs or Enterprise
  • Ideally have had some leadership, mentoring experience though key experience will be focused on ability to close opportunities and meet personal targets
  • Have a strong track record within technology solutions, particularly focused on IT Managed Services
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Hybrid working but happy to travel as required, working across locations such as Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London.

Up to £85,000 Basic Salary plus Double OTE
