Group Finance Director

Our client is a diversified property development and investment group which is active in both the commercial and residential property markets. The Group currently has substantial assets under management and has ambitious plans to significantly add to this over the coming years.

The Group FD will report directly to the Managing Director and support them in helping grow the business moving forward. This role will have full responsibility for all aspects of the finance department, but also support the executive team in fund raising, strategy planning, business performance management and the evaluation of acquisitions.

Our client is looking for a qualified accountant, who is commercially driven, has a strong network in the industry and a proven track record of successfully raising capital for projects and acquisitions. The candidate must be able to work closely with an entrepreneurial management team, adding commercial flair to the decision-making process. Essential characteristics for the role are a good commercial understanding, flexible approach and an ability to take decisions and make things happen. The preferred candidate will also have experience working within the property sector and must be technically competent as well as having the drive to grow the business and act as a true ‘business partner’ to the MD.
