Reed Finance are delighted to working on an exclusive and retained basis with a growing manufacturing business located in Widnes who are now looking to recruit a Finance Director to join the large finance team. This role reports to the CFO and will represent finance to the wider organisation.

This role is responsible for leading the business and providing insight to grow and manage the business by driving and delivering business performance.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

• business partnering with board / senior management
• manage key financial processes for business units
• developing financial dashboards
• seeking new commercial opportunities, tools & processes
• developing metrics to track various goals / objectives and provide recommendations
• providing analytical support to sales for pricing / profitability
• manage, grow & develop finance team
• senior stakeholder management to influence strategic decision making

Due to the nature of the role, our client is looking for candidates with the following skill set / experience:

• CIMA qualified circa 10 years post qualified
• manufacturing experience
• high attention to detail
• ability to work in dynamic / changing environments
• track record of managing & completing projects
• proficient in SAP and strong IT skills
• strong analytical skills
• strong executive experience
