Epsom College is Surrey’s top performing co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11 to 18. Jay Piggot will step down in summer 2022 after a transformative decade that has seen the opening of the Lower School, sustained advancement in the education of Epsom’s pupils and the opening of Epsom College in Malaysia.

The Governors seek a visionary and inspiring Bursar and Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner with the incoming Head and to play a key strategic leadership role in helping to position the College for the future. By providing strong strategic, financial and commercially ambitious leadership they will ensure that the excellent educational offer at Epsom College is supported by a confident and enterprising bursary team.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and flexible leader, possessing the organisational abilities and interpersonal skills to lead a high level of strategic and operational delivery. They will bring the vision and skills to maximise the commercial potential of the College while demonstrating a record of senior leadership and management experience. They will also bring outstanding communication skills, an ethos of continuous improvement and a demonstrable commitment to developing a world class 21st century co-educational environment.
