Job Details

Our client is a PE backed technology business. As the business continues to grow there is now a need to bring in a Financial Controller to strengthen the Senior Leadership Team and support the CFO in the day to day running of the finance function:

Overview:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Controller role will take responsibility for Financial Reporting, Statutory Accounts, Board Reporting, Treasury, Balance Sheet Control, Cash Forecasting ensuring a strong Financial Control framework that is in compliance with all regulatory authorities.as well as ad project work as required by the CFO.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring the Group maintains a strong financial control environment
  • Leading and developing the finance team
  • Review of the monthly Board Pack for Board reporting
  • Review of the consolidation of monthly results
  • Consolidation and reporting of budgets and forecasts
  • Treasury and cash management
  • Integration of current and future acquisitions
  • Significant ad hoc project work

You will be a qualified accountant; with demonstrable experience in a senior accounting roles. You have a strong leadership style and can demonstrate how you have guided and mentored teams to deliver strong results. Your dynamic style will be engaging whether presenting to large finance conferences or the Audit committee.

With a tenacious approach, you will be capable of seeing opportunities to improve, simplify systems and / or processes to deliver efficiency. Experience of business planning and change management is essential as well as the ability to negotiate effectively with external suppliers at a senior level.
