Category Buyer - Packaging

Lead the procurement strategy of all packaging spend (glass, lids, plastics, cardboard, labels...)​Work closely with suppliers, negotiate on major contractsEnsure a high level of quality on all productsWork closely with other team members to help with the overall functional strategy​Using continuous improvement tools and processes to effectively drive sustainable business growth opportunities and maximise the overall commercial value from through the category development process.

Profile

Several years direct spend procurement experience within FMCG food manufacturing.

Experience buying packaging, including glass. ​

Strong Negotiation skillsThe ability to present to individuals and large groups ​The ability to ensure develop long term relationships with suppliersGreat analytical skills and strong attention to detail.​The ability to form important relationships with internal stakeholders. ​Proactive, inquisitive, passionate, who relishes taking ownership.​​

Job Offer

up to £64,000 plus 10% bonus + benefits

Flexible working, with 2 days pw in their London office.
