Operations Director(Board Member) Liverpool GBP90,000-GBP100,000

My client are famous for creating unique accommodation in Liverpool city centre. They boast a number of hotels, luxury apartments and high end bars within their portfolio.

They are currently looking for an Operations Director to direct and coordinate the internal operational structure of the organisation based on company policies, goals, and objectives.

The ideal individual will be experienced in the industry and will have managed operations of multiple busy hospitality venues on a day to day to basis.

The successful candidate will also sit on the board of Directors.

Role and Responsibilities:

-Execution of the businesses overall strategy while also highlighting issues as they may arise and formulating solutions

-Formulating the annual budget and monthly forecasting methodology and to instil a robust ethos in the organisation of adhering to financial policies and procedures and an ethos of profit and loss analysis in managers and departments to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.

-Monitoring sales and revenue targets and key performance indicators for all operational departments/properties.

-To assist in HR related functionality including creating and modifying operational structures where and when needed, assisting in recruitment at the highest level of management and providing and contributing to standards and training policies and procedures for staff development whilst being available to offer HR guidance where needed.

-Develops plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs including a culture of scrutiny around staffing levels and rotas for maximum profitability and efficiency and standard of service.

-Works between internal departments to ensure that communication is of the uppermost and where needed intervenes and contributes to improvement of working relationships, policies, and procedures within the organisation to ensure maximum operational efficiency.

-Works actively to assess and evaluate procurement processes, existing supplier contracts and deals and where needed, intervenes to ensure better value for money and supplier relations.

-Works pro-actively to bring the latest technologies and systems to the business to improve service and efficiency, and can oversee the process of procuring and installing them.

-To be on hand to oversee, assist and direct service including accommodation services, F&B and events.

- Present to the Board each month/Sit on the board and be involved in the overall decision making and strategy for the whole business.

Salary - GBP90,000-GBP100,000 + Excellent Benefits.
