Group Company Secretary

Our client is a fast growing listed market leading consumer facing digital business.

Key responsibilities are to advise the Board on all regulatory, stautory and compliance based matters and lead the Company Secretariat team.


Reporting to the Group CEO and Chairman, this is a unique opportunity to join a high growth business that is expanding, both organically and through acquisition.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensuring that all statutory, regulatory, legal, property, and compliance matters are completed accurately, to the required timescales
  • Being actively involved in acquisition due diligence processes, funding proposals and corporate governance development
  • Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management
  • Set internal governance policies and manage the impact of external factors
  • Base your decision making process on ethics and integrity
  • Create associations of trust and respect with key stakeholders
  • Deal with external parties (regulators, external counsel)
  • Draft agreements that minimize risks and maximize legal rights
  • Meet legal objectives
  • Deal with complex, significant matters that cut across legal and related areas
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes

You will have a track record of success as a Group Company Secretary with excellent attention to detail and experience of working in a dynamic corporate environment.

You will have a track record of success operating at Board level within a FTSE 250 or larger plc.

The role has an immediate start, as such only available candidate applications are welcomed.

Initial contract length is 6 months, extension potential thereafter.

The role is hybrid with 2 days a week office based the rest WFH.
