Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a large engineering company who operate within the defence sector and are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to work on site in Christchurch.

Brief Description:
Could you deliver cutting edge technology bids supporting the latest digital developments to our customers? As the Project Manager you will be responsible for managing a cross functional bid team to deliver the key project and bid documents needed to support successful order intake.

This opportunity may involve working on prospects across several countries and customers.
This role requires a flex between a PM and Business Development (BD) mind set. Delivering to a schedule and managing reviews according to process, whilst being able to adapt and change, alter, or even repeat processes due to changing customer requirements, and dealing with ambiguity.

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks such as:
*You will manage cross functional bid team, monitoring progress and cost
*Production of high standard project management documentation; WBS, OBS, RAM, SOW, integrated bid schedule
*Co-ordination of all elements of LCM including appropriate tailoring
*You will also support the management of the campaign room
*Production and delivery of the Bid Management Plan and the Bid Status Review pack
*Management of the proposal process, through response deliverables, story boards, requirements management and configuration control
*Among other duties, you will lead all aspects of the planning and execution of the overall proposal and proposal development plan
*Moreover, you will lead and manage the Bid Team through all the proposal development activities
*Ensures RFP requirements are identified and addressed determines appropriate Proposal document structure and conducts storyboard activities. Supports win theme development activities.
*Lead and manage the section and volume through all the Capture activities. This includes managing to budget, delivery against milestones, quality of pricing and written text.
*In coordination with the Capture Manager, selects reviewers and schedules/organises Pink and Red reviews to assure Proposal quality and compliance, together with consistency across the Proposal and associated plans and review material.
*Support any re-submission or clarification activities through to contract award.
*Manage the development of strategic marketing material.
*Plan, appropriately tailor, and use relevant processes, including LCM reviews and approvals
*Support the development and deployment of functional learning and development eg, Business Winning Developing You (BWDY)

*Also, Decision making and excellent leadership
*Configuration management and Export compliance
*Ability to adapt and tailor strategy in line with emerging opportunities
*Strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
*You are always working to quality standards and qualifications
*Very high attention to detail for proposal management
*Able to maintain focus and drive in a highly demanding environment
*Occasional travel may be required
*Previous experience in campaigning would be an advantage
