Compass Associates are delighted to be exclusively representing a valued client in the hire of an exceptional Chief Nursing Officer.

The client, a private provider of healthcare across multiple sites in the UK and internationally and specialism's within private acute care are seeking a candidate with a passion for delivering the best quality in the sector. they have ambitious expansion plans within the UK market and are seeking a strategic, commercially focussed clinical candidate.

You will have a proven track record at a senior multi site level working with the corporate and hospital clinical teams to develop and implement the group wide strategic objectives to the highest standards and to improve the care and experience of patients. Longer term objectives will include growth planning, commissioning of sites and building a regional clinical team.

Essential Experience Required
  • Experience as Chief Nurse or Senior Director of Clinical Services with multisite experience within the independent sector
  • Qualified RGN
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Educated to master's degree level in health related subject or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Experience of successfully leading and managing a diverse team.
  • Experience of working with external stake-holders e.g. CQC, Department of Health
  • Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety systems and processes including clinical risk and safeguarding of vulnerable people.
  • Knowledge and credibility across wide range of infection control measures and management.
  • Hands on approach to management with a clear passion to deliver the best patient experience.
  • Strong auditing experience
  • A detailed knowledge of multiple areas of secondary care and the wider independent sector
  • Demonstrable experience of leading and effectively managing change in large complex environments. .
  • Able to contribute and provide credible input across the Board's corporate strategy and agenda.

Key Responsibilities;
  • Providing leadership and executive representation for all nursing and therapy staff.
  • Accountability for CQC performance across multiple healthcare sites.
  • Developing and implementing patient safety systems and processes within the organisation.
  • To address and develop the clinical skill mix across the business
  • The lead for adult and children's safeguarding issues.
