Job Details
Our client, a Venture Capital Fund require part-time Head of Finance/ Finance Director support for 1-2 days per week initially.
The fund are expanding, with the expectation of multiple funds established over the next 2-5 years. During this expansion period, the fund require part-time support to;
- Execute the daily book-keeping of the fund (currently supporting 10-15 investments)
- Shape the ongoing reporting, controls and processes to support the fund as they grow
- Work closely with the fund admin to determine their on-going role, as admin duties are brought in-house through your guidance and execution
- Work closely with the key fund Partners to create the longer term FD role and progression plan, then mentor a full-time individual into the role
Candidate profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA etc.)
- Demonstrable experience working within small VC/PE funds
- 1-2 day per week capacity to deliver the book-keeping, and begin establishing in-house processes
- Strong stakeholder management to work closely with the fund admin, and fund partners
