Job Details
Privately owned services group are looking to hire an Interim Group Financial Controller to support them for 3-6 months, during a busy period. The expectation will be that you be based in their South Hampshire (M3 corridor) office for 3 days per week, with the rest remote working, and expenses to their offices would also be paid if required. There is also the possibility of the role leading to a permanent one in due course, if things go well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the group finance team, taking ownership of financial/management accounting related duties
- Support the CFO by leading the external audit process
- Provide strong and capable cash and working capital management
- Ad-hoc project work, including support of new system development and FX hedging
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Accountant
- Experienced Group Financial Controller of a medium sized business (private equity backed or otherwise)
- Experience of working in a highly leveraged business and dealing with covenants is preferred
- Strong leadership skills and a self-starter attitude
