Job Details

Our client is a leading branded FMCG business with a direct to consumer model. They have
experienced exponential growth and are the market leader in their category, offering
innovative products and a range of services to their customers. Their unique market
positioning and innovative technology has fuelled their success and they see significant
further potential for growth.


They recently completed a successful second stage of fundraising and have an experienced
leadership team and Board made up of entrepreneurs and high profile investors. They are
now seeking to further the depth of the executive team with the appointment of a UK
focussed Managing Director.


The Opportunity:
Over the last 12 months the business has made significant gains, their customer base has
grown significantly and investment has allowed the development of product innovation and
marketing strategy, driving average order value and market penetration. In the current
environment they are seeing increased demand for their services and are well placed to
capitalise on this, with a strong operational platform and experienced team.


The newly created role of Managing Director will take the helm of the commercial and
operational leadership of the business and drive the company forward in the next phase of
growth. The role will be responsible for developing the UK business, expanding the brand
and bringing clear leadership and focus to the UK operation.


The Managing Director will be tasked with inspiring the senior team, fostering a result
orientated culture of growth and collaboration. Through motivational leadership, you will
enable a strong operational team who have a clear and shared purpose. By creating an
understanding of the strategic big-picture you and your team will take the necessary steps
to achieve long-term success.

Candidate Requirements:
Our client is seeking a dynamic leader with a background in a D2C environment and
experience of driving scalable growth. You must be able to present a track record of strong
delivery against strategic aims and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.


A proven background of building and expanding a brand, ideally operating in a high growth
environment is important. A significant strategic, commercial or marketing career within a
leading FMCG environment will be necessary to be successful in this role.
