Job Details
The client is looking for aprocurement manager to run new commitments under the new National Rail Contract. They will need to run end to end procurements through frameworks, manage contracts and aim to deliver efficiencies across the organisations, as well as running strategy.

Description
- Draft and enact procurement strategies to superiors in department for final approval
- Report to senior procurement manager and Head of Procurement
- Run end to end procurement projects across categories
- Work with contract managers to ensure delivery of agreed procurement strategies
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure business needs are met and value is delivered
- Regularly report to procurement team and wider stakeholders
- Developing supplier relationships
- Ensure that procurement is operating within requirements of internal and external regulations
Profile
- Professional procurement qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Competent setting procurement strategy
