The Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA) is a UK-wide charity and network of over 100 organisations, dedicated to ensuring women and families affected by perinatal mental problems have access to high-quality comprehensive care and support. MMHA brings the maternal mental health community together and make change happen by combining the power of real-life experience with clinical and professional expertise.

The Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive to lead the MMHA to draw attention to the silent suffering of women with mental health difficulties in pregnancy and the first year following childbirth. Together with a supportive and talented Board of Trustees, you will drive our ambitious plans to build upon our experience from the past 10 years to ensure all women receive the right support and care, whatever their background and requirement of mental health.

You will join MMHA at a pivotal time with a new Chair at the helm, and will help to provide strategic and inspirational leadership both internally and externally. We will need to think differently about how we operate, and how we take MMHA to the next phase authentically. Diversity and inclusion are key priorities in our strategic purpose and through this role you will help to increase our impact.

You will be a proactive and front-facing leader, committed to developing a positive and inclusive culture. You will be motivated to ensure long term financial sustainability through effective governance, sound finance and accomplishment of operational plans. You will empower our staff team and work closely with the Board to achieve long-term influence and financial sustainability at national scale.

If you are an empathetic, forward-thinking and dynamic leader, with a proven track record of expanding organisation awareness and reach at a national level, we would be delighted to hear from you.
