Head of Technology Systems and Services, Not for Profit (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

We are working with a UK charity to help find an interim leader in their Data and Technology function, with a focus on technology systems and support services. 

Title:       Interim Head of Technology Systems and Services 

Contract:    6-month fixed term contract 

Hours:      35 hours per week 

Location:   Based in London office at least one day per week 

About the role  

As Head of Technology Systems and Services, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of their technology provision, with priorities relating to service delivery, security, deployment, and development. Working alongside the director of their multi-year data, digital and technology transformation programme, you will ensure that they have solid foundations on which to build their vision for the future, providing technical expertise to the programme, and delivering aspects of specific projects. As part of this role, you will help the data and technology team to organise around a resilient, agile, and service-orientated vision for the future of technology at the charity.  

About you  

The successful Interim Head of Technology Systems and Services will be an experienced and committed technology leader to head up our technology systems and support functions, and to provide leadership and advice on all technology matters for the charity. You will have: 

• Excellent leadership, management, and people development skills  An outstanding communicator of complex and technical matters to a variety of stakeholders  Substantial and recent experience of leading a multi-disciplinary IT team through a period of change 

• Experience of delivering excellent IT support services, and of technology function design and development  Demonstrable experience of collaborating to develop and execute technology strategies  Demonstratable experience of leading Technology Services in the not for profit space required
