A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for AML/Prevention/KYC Specialist/Lead on a 6 month contract basis.

It will be GBP653 Umbrella Day and working remotely for the foreseeable future. However, the role will be based in Liverpool and will be require some time onsite later in the year.

Responsibilities for the role are;

Responsible for managing the anti-money laundering and financial crime functions.

• Through the adoption of relevant tools, and in line with policy/internal requirements and regulatory expectation, maintain records of the governance structure, relevant forums and their membership. Enable required outputs of information related to governance arrangements as ready inputs to support other regulatory processes eg CRD lV (MRT), SMCR.
• Advises on, develops tools and resources and embeds behavioural best practice related to production of Management Information in all Boards and Committees across the region.
• Drives the feedback and iterative improvement loop for effective and efficient governance through self-assessment process and training.
• Leads on components of regulatory change projects where required, and provides executive sponsorship of programmes to remediate/drive execution of process improvements/operational remediation.
• Responsible for the process of checking policies for applicability and relevance for businesses and legal entities in the EMEA region.
