This role is to fulfil the following key functions:

- Delivery of projects/programmes/work packages with the first project now ready for delivery of a hybrid cloud migration project.

- Support to IT SRO

- Opportunity to shape the project management experience for our customers

The person fulfilling this role will be a good relationship builder who has experience of delivering projects/programmes from start to finish, ensuring success from concept to service transition, working within larger business change programmes and who has some great ideas and loves improve the customer experience .

Communication skills are key to this role as it involves working with multiple with multiple business partners, the IT SRO leads, head of business operations and IT director to communicate the status of the projects and programmes of change within the organisation. Your work will initially begin with a hybrid cloud migration project moving forward in the future to be involved in managing projects, developing project plans, managing outside contractors/suppliers and liaising with stakeholders to ensure that project/programme requirements are met and team members are clear on the individual vision for each project. The future projects range from large scale multi-affected businesses units with external stakeholders to single small change solo business unit implementations and integrations. You will be working with the technical leads and business unit heads to deliver this multitude of successful projects.

The Hybrid Cloud project with require three key skills of:

- Stakeholder management

- Working collaboratively with the 3rd party MSPs

- Building relationships internally to secure technical resources as required at the different phases of the project

You will be responsible for:

Delivery of the hybrid cloud migration project.

Providing strong leadership and governance ensuring projects are correctly scoped with clearly defined outcomes and sponsorship.

Managing assigned projects/programmes/packages of work from inception to transition and closure.

Day-to-day management of the project/programme/portfolio on behalf of the business and sponsors as allocated to you.

Ownership and Co-ordination of the application migrations and their interdependencies

Identification, analysis and management of risks, issues and dependencies. Facilitating problem solving within project teams and escalating appropriately

Plan for and deliver all aspects of the project including related Business Change where required along with the appropriate project controls.

Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs.

Creating and managing suitable levels of documentation relating to the planning, tracking, progressing and delivery of your projects, including charts, plans, RAID logs and other representations and artefacts through engagement and delivery processes.

Regular and accurate reporting for the projects allocated.

Establishing suitable project sponsors and governance to deliver reports and management information as required

Financial management of the project reporting against budgets and ensuring costs are agreed with relevant sponsor or stakeholder.

Effective implementation of processes, procedures and guidelines as defined by the organisational.

The provision of post-project/closure documentation, related to lessons learned, transition, residual risk handover and similar artefacts.

Guiding and assisting the Head of IT Business Operations with your experience good working practices and development of how we work here'.

Ideal skill sets:

Strong client focus with excellent stakeholder management skills

Proven track record of successfully managing Cloud migration projects/multiple complex projects/enterprise programme and/or of high visibility and impact piece of work.

Respected by previous team members as a knowledgeable sounding board.

A solid hands-on' IT project/programme delivery background

Proven experience in managing 3rd parties/project teams/vendor and suppliers

High levels of commercial awareness

Wide range of project management methodologies and approaches demonstratable through your previous waterfall and agile methodologies

Experience with a range of project management tools, to plan and communicate progress to differing audiences.

Strong time management skills/self-managed/self-motivated

Strong experience of Microsoft Project (or similar planning tool) and the Microsoft Suite of Office products

Experience of leading project teams from strategic inception through to project completion, and post-implementation change.

Renumeration:

50 - 60k depending on candidate
