Description
I am currently recruiting for Senior Economic Regulation Adviser with a utilities business in Abu Dhabi (UAE). You will:
*Maintain and manage the relationship with DoE and other government regulatory bodies in relation to the businesses economic regulation framework (e.g. price control)
*Identify, coordinate and implement any changes to the economic regulation or related frameworks for the businesses, including any changes to price controls and tariff methodologies, in coordination with Legal and Commercial as appropriate
*Maintain economic regulation compliance in collaboration with Commercial and other relevant functions
*Quantify the impact of any regulatory change on the businesses role and represent the business during economic regulation developments
*Develop the framework to identify and plan for the advocacy on changes to the Economic Regulation framework
Profile
You will have:
- Strong economic regulation experience in either energy or water gained from a regulator, regulated business or professional services firm.
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
- Experience in price controls
