In the last few years the University has put in place new developments to plan for growth, to enable it to become an aspirational destination for students and staff.

As part of the key team to implement this strategy the University is looking for a CFO. The role calls for a track record in strategy and innovation, shaping and driving change, and excellent creative, influencing and leadership skills. Strong commercial instincts are important, with an understanding of the broader public service dimension of Higher Education.

Strong candidates will have a professional accounting qualification and substantial post-qualification experience. They will have held a senior leadership post within a relevant organisation in terms of size and complexity and be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the challenges facing Higher Education in a UK and global context. Candidates will also demonstrate a high degree of integrity, enthusiasm and commitment to the University.
