Our client, a large housing association in the south east is looking for an interim property director for a period of 6-9 months. The individual will have an exemplary background in leading and transforming property functions within organisations with at least 25,000 stock. They importantly will have used technology and data as key drivers to improve services and will ideally be at the forefront of innovation in the area.

The Property Services Directors specific role will be to deliver the majority of major, planned and responsive repairs, stock renewal, compliance and energy efficiency in order to achieve cost-effective, quality services and well maintained homes for residents with excellent service levels. More specifically this includes:

  • Delivering an exemplar, customer focused property repairs service
  • Effectively manage third party suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness and high service level delivery
  • Lead, motivate and inspire operational teams to deliver high quality services to resident and the group.
  • Develop and implement best in class systems, processes and practices
  • Deliver safe homes through robust and effective mitigation of property related hazards e.g. fire, gas, water safety
  • Continuous improvement of property services policies and procedures. Ensure accurate and up-to-date stock condition data. Maintain awareness and, where appropriate, implement changes relating to Property Services legislation

They are ideally looking to engage an individual on a fixed term contract for 6-9 months but will consider a day rate also.
