Our client is a technology driven financial services Group with leading positions in its markets. The business continues to go from strength to strength and this new role has been created to support future growth. The key role of the Strategy Analyst/Manager is to support on Group Strategy and M&A, activity, working collaboratively to support the different Group operating divisions.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Analysing market research, relevant companies and products across a range of markets to support in developing overall corporate strategy and M&A opportunities
  • Researching and sourcing data to support strategic activity where limited information is available
  • Contributing to strategic reports, both recurring and ad-hoc, to be read at Board level
  • Assisting in project management of Group projects, ensuring high quality work is delivered on time
  • Managing and negotiating Group research subscriptions, ensuring access is easily available to the relevant audience across the wider Group
  • Developing a strong network across the Group to enable knowledge sharing and insight

Required experience:
  • Qualified to degree level, with a professional accounting qualification preferred
  • Strong analytic and numerical skills, allowing differing points of view to be challenged and validated
  • Highly proficient in using PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Capable of working as part of a small team, as well as independently, to meet objectives
  • Able to confidently manage numerous high-profile work streams, whilst maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Able to interact with senior stakeholders up to Board level
