Interim Project Manager

This is an exciting project to assist our client for a period of 3-6. The suitable Interim Project Manager will have a strong track record of working in an environment where they manufacture heavy industrial steel goods and you will understand the need to project manage the flow of materials from purchase through to production. This position requires excellent people management skills along with strong investigative skills. Historically the business has lacked process and procedure so it is not always easy to identify what is going on. They are currently lacking an ERP system so it is not always clear where they are at. 

The success factor for this role will be a thorough understanding of the build milestones for this product, and the associated activities required at each critical stage.

The suitable candidate will meet the following criteria;

• Prior experience of working with large engineered steel and electronic products
• Experience of working in business recovery situations 
• Strong Interim track record
• Demonstrable experience of project managing the build of large engineered products
• An excellent understanding of materials and supply chain
• A curious nature and enjoy resolving issues
• Will be comfortable establishing the plan without knowing all of the problems at the start of the project
• An expert people manager and problem solver
