Are you looking to head up an exciting, growing DevOps function, define the DevOps roadmap and add real value to an exciting scale up? If so, I may have something for you!

I am looking to engage with talented Head of DevOps/DevOps manager/DevOps Lead who maybe want to have a new challenge. The business optimizes the performance of people, processes and physical assets with connected digital solutions. Its data driven and their insight is put in place to continually improve performance in large, complex organisations. In order to achieve this, they implement connected automated monitoring on critical assets and in turn, protect them!

They have some outstanding clients who utilise their technology and now we need someone who is able to lead their DevOps function on a new and exciting part of their journey!

As the new Head of DevOps/DevOps manager/DevOps lead, you will be taking ownership of the entire department. You will be responsible for 2 engineers, plus also given accountability for the wide range of projects that are running internally.

As the new Head of DevOps/DevOps manager/DevOps lead, your time will be split 60:40 hands on, whilst you ensure there is minimal technical debt and you drive the business forwards on to the next stage of their growth.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience within an AWS environment
• Excellent commercial awareness of Terraform
• Python/Powershell Scripting
• Containerization - especially kubernetes
• Experience leading a small and dynamic team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A track record of defining clear DevOps roadmaps
• An emphasis on Best practice
• Mentorship and leadership

Interviews are set to take place over the next week, with feedback on profiles given within 48 hours.

This is a permanent role, which is remote, but would see you go to their Cambridge office once a month. Unfortunately, this role does not offer sponsorship.
