Tax Project Manager

Our client, a national consumer business with offices in London and Leeds seeks a tax specialist to join the business to help re-engineer their reporting process and controls around taxation.

As part of a transformation across the wider group finance function to 'make things better', it recognises that their current tax reporting practices are less than efficient and are perhaps harbouring low-value or redundant reporting procedures that are not only slowing down the pace of the accounts preparation, but relies on various assumptions that are potentially causing inaccuracies and consequently consuming valuable time and resource to retrospectively correct.

We seek an immediately available Tax specialist, either a Chartered Accountant and/or a CTA that has worked within projects that have brought simplicity and efficiency to taxation reporting functions. We require expertise around systemising and automating a lot of process that will better reflect current tax considerations, liabilities and forecasts whilst helping the business to be in better control to ensure that they are neither underpaying or overpaying in Tax and VAT.
