Animal suffering sadly comes in too many forms: from animals caught up in war and conflict, to the terrible conditions endured by countless farm animals, to imprisoned wildlife and the legal and illegal trade in fur and other animal parts, to the illegal puppy trade in the UK, to the unbelievably cruel dog and cat meat trade in South East Asia - everywhere, humans have an almost incalculable impact on the lives of millions of animals.
FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals suffering under human influence. We reveal suffering, rescue animals in need and protect them, through our global approach and a breadth of impactful programmes and campaigns. We work towards a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding, from grass-root to government level, from treating stray dogs and cats to rescuing animals from conflict zones.
