FOUR PAWS is the global animal welfare organisation for animals suffering under human influence. We reveal suffering, rescue animals in need and protect them, through our global approach and a breadth of impactful programmes and campaigns. We are seeking a Director to lead our FOUR PAWS office in the UK, someone who is both an animal lover and is inspired by our global and UK based work to end animal suffering. Our new Director, UK will build on our solid growth and financial stability by granting a powerful voice for animals at risk and by providing strategic leadership to a committed and highly capable team. Working closely with the FOUR PAWS' International head office and other national entities, the Director, UK will lead our campaign and communication priorities to ensure our campaigns have maximum reach and influence. They will lead our profile-raising work, including with the media, and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government and parliamentarians, to influence social policy and legislative change that delivers real impact for animals.

We are seeking a collaborative and creative senior leader with a track record of high-profile networking, influencing national policy and working with the media. Our new Director UK will bring experience of representing key issues to a wide range of stakeholders, including politicians and companies, and will relish the opportunity to build the profile and partnerships that will ensure impactful growth. You will be experienced in communicating key policy and campaign messages to a variety of audiences, will have a sound understanding of fundraising and be an inclusive and supportive leader. Crucially, you will be committed to making a difference to the lives of animals across the globe who need it the most.
