Role

My client currently operates two IT service providers and four separate VOIP platforms. The project is to migrate to a single provider and a single VOIP platform for all parts of the business. This involves the removal of Citrix as the desktop environment for a 3rd of the of the business and deployment of desktop replacements. The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the creation of a new Active Directory, migration of file and print to One-drive, migration from two O365 tenants to a new single environment and introduction of Mimecast.

This is a large-scale change project covering 50 branches, four separate support centres, and four different brands.

The project will be completed by mid-September and there is an expectation that the role will be based in Eastbourne at the IT HQ, remote working and at branch when required.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager with infrastructure projects and a technical understanding of what needs to be done, by when and by whom. The service provider will provide project management resource as well. This role is to ensure that the companies' interests are represented and that the communication plan to the business is well executed.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, take ownership and drive through a complex and challenging project through to completion on time and within budget. Be comfortable dealing with all levels of the business and is adapt at building relationships and managing suppliers.

Salary & Benefits

GBP350-GBP420 per day (outside IR35)
